Rod Ends, Rod End Bearings
A rod end bearing, otherwise known as a heim joint (North. The united states)
or rose joint (U. K. and elsewhere), can be a mechanical articulating joint.
Such joints are used on the ends associated with control rods, steering links,
fasten rods, and also anywhere a precision articulating joint is necessary. A
ball swivel with the opening through which a bolt or other affixing hardware may
pass is pressed in to a circular casing with a threaded shaft attached. The
threaded portion may be either female or men.

roller bearings for higher rpm usage. Round rod end bearings come in many sizes
too ½ " to 6" for imperial together with 2mm to 2, 000mm. Supplies for both rod
ends and plain spherical may be from mild steel to help heat treated alloys and
stainless steel. Custom sizes may be made to order to boot.
